Jay is a co-chair of the The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, the voice of the more than 125,000 businesses across Manhattan. The chamber enhances the economic vitality of Manhattan by building a strong climate for the broader business community.


Jay is a board member of StartUp Westport, a group whose mission is to activate and engage Westport’s growing tech and innovation community.

Sitting on Westport Library’s Board of Trustees, Jay and the rest of the board cultivate relationships to support the library, contribute expertise for the library’s benefit, financially contribute to the library and assist in fundraising efforts, among other duties


Westport-Weston Family YMCA

Jay is a board member of the Westport-Weston Family YMCA. The Board of Directors oversee the Y’s programs and operations.


Westport 10

Jay co-founded Westport 10, an experiential club for people of color within Westport and the surrounding areas.


A Better Chance

Jay mentors young leaders of color throughout the United States through A Better Chance. It is the oldest and only national organization of its kind, where high-performing middle and high school students of color are place and supported within the most prestigious public and boarding schools in the country.


New York Urban League

Jay is a board member of the New York Urban League, which helps people from underserved communities secure a seat at the table, through education, employment, empowerment and advocacy.


Westport Downtown Merchants Association

Sitting on the board of the Westport Downtown Merchants Association, Jay helps promote the economic vitality of all downtown Westport businesses, fostering community and an improved commercial experience.


Techstars

As a mentor for Techstars Detroit, Jay provides support to entrepreneurs in his hometown through workshops and curated experiences.
