Why I created Visionary’s Newsletter

My name is Jay Norris, and I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Guesst.co. Welcome to Visionary’s Newsletter, the hub for empowering SMBs. In creating this quarterly newsletter, I had to ask myself, “Why do I care so deeply about connecting my vast network of entrepreneurs?”

Growing up in the heart of downtown Detroit, Michigan, I learned how communities and businesses could shape each other, how local economies thrived when people had access to the right opportunities, and how environments influenced influenced success. That stayed with me as I built my entrepreneurial ventures in media, hospitality, retail, real estate and technology. I saw how small businesses and retail and restaurant entrepreneurs struggled—not because of a lack of vision or talent, but because they didn’t have access to the right strategies, data, tools, and resources to grow sustainably.

That’s why I created Visionary’s Newsletter by Jay Norris—to provide entrepreneurs and SMBs with insights, resources, and connections that can help them not just survive, but thrive.
